Film regulation
Films are regulated by BBFC, and are given age certificate ratings. This is done to inform the audience on the specific age the context is appropriate for, whether it contains references to sex, violence, or rude language
The Lego Movie is rated U. U films should be set within a positive framework and should offer reassuring counterbalances to any violence, threat or horror.
